Nightmare Before Christmas Nursery

I was scouring the internet looking for 1st birthday party ideas for Raine (yes folks, it's almost that time already) when I happened upon some ideas for a Nightmare Before Christmas Theme which got me thinking, I haven't posted pictures of his freaken rockstar digs. So without further adieu....

I found the sticky wall mural and paintings/drawings on Etsy. This oh so comfy glider and ottoman were found at Walmart of all places.

The bookshelf I happened to have from Ikea. All knick knacks and random Jack Skeleton stuffies my mother had found tag-saling or bargain shopping.

I found a woman on Etsy who specialized in making gothic nursery sets and that is where I got the crib bedding, mobile, hamper liner, and changing table cover.

I love his Zero light switch cover =D

Awesome Right?

  1. I absolutely love this, I just found out I'm pregnant and immediately wanted a Nightmare before Christmas nursery (since black & white designs help the babies brain development PLUS its neutural and I can go ahead & buy stuff now lol) but I couldn't find anything ANYWHERE so thank you sooooo very much for the heads up about etsy you are a life saver!!! I was so scared I would have to go with something "traditional" which would have broken my heart!!! Thanks again!!!

    1. I found the person selling the crib bedding set. did you have to e mail them with the details of what you wanted? They were reliable? And how long to get your items?

    2. I did personally message the woman to discuss exactly what I wanted. She's easy to work with and I found her reliable. Keep in mind she hand makes these sets so it does take some time to get them. I actually ordered through her shop on eBay but I believe she has an etsy shop too. You can message her through either site and she can help you :)

    1. I'm sorry. I didn't realize her bedding had gotten more pricey. Looking at my set though it doesn't look as if it would be all that hard to make.

  8. This is my husband's favorite movie of all time. he has so many collector things and stuff so i decided i would let him decorate our first baby's nursery in this. Beside this being his fav movie it also can be unisex since we are not finding out the sex of our baby. I will def share this with him so it can give him an idea of what I WANT lol!
